We’re getting excited here at Cora Refining ! On Saturday, September 17th, we head over to LMT’s Lab Day East® at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Now, everyone knows about the casinos in Atlantic City. But what if you’re not a gambler? Not a problem! Several of my co-workers have spent many weekends in Atlantic City and we’ve compiled a quick list of some great places to stop at while you’re there.

#1 – Whitehouse Subs
Be sure to make a quick stop at Whitehouse Subs (2301 Arctic Ave, Atlantic City). On the outside it doesn’t look like anything spectacular. Come to think of it, on the inside, it doesn’t look like anything spectacular either. But, it’s been around since 1946 and they know what they’re doing! The subs are out of this world! They are best known for their Philly Cheesesteaks. Make sure to get there early – this tiny sub shop gets quite crowded. And just a warning,: the subs are massive! You can’t say we didn’t warn you.

#2 – Bike Ride on the Boardwalk
Ride off the Whitehouse sub with a bike ride on the Boardwalk. It is a wonderful way to enjoy the atmosphere and there are plenty of shops to peruse when you’re ready for a rest. There are bikes to rent, but they do restrict the rides to the morning so make sure to check the times.

#3 – Absecon Lighthouse
Looking for a little more exercise? Check out the Absecon Lighthouse (31 S Rhode Island Ave, Atlantic City). It’s New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse measuring 171 feet. It’s 159 years young and you can still climb this old structure. It’s not accessible from the Boardwalk, but its only a short distance away and well worth the trip.

And when you’re all done sightseeing, be sure to drop by and visit Cora at Booth B-3 at Lab Day East®. If you have some dental scrap that you’d like to drop off, we can take it at the exhibit. It only takes 5-7 business days to process and we’ll call you within the week with your results. Looking forward to seeing you there!
