Our company was founded in 1976 by Bob Raths who sought to provide high-quality refinery for the dental lab industry. We employ extremely knowledgeable and talented scientists as part of our team of experts here at Cora Refining. Through our hard work, meticulousness and dedication to excellence, we are proud to purchase dental metals for refining in all 50 states and Canada.
Over the years the company has earned a solid reputation among lab owners for providing results that meet or exceed their expectations. We consider this a great achievement and plan to continue to strengthen our standing in the industry by doing what we do best – providing accurate results for our clients.
Our Methods
Cora’s top priority is accuracy. We utilize fire assay and gravimetric precipitation to ensure the best results for our clients. These methods are time-tested techniques and remain one of the most statistically accurate in precious metals reclamation. We test all materials and never estimate pricing in order to ensure you the best return. As technology has expanded in recent years, many other techniques have emerged that provide faster results. We have examined many of these alternatives, but have decided that none could meet the standards set by our current methods. Here at Cora we recognize that in our increasingly global society, a multitude of opportunities and challenges are emerging for us all. We believe that in order to keep the dental lab industry strong and growing, we all need to do our part. We continue to stay active in industry related trade shows and related business events. To help achieve this goal Cora supports dental lab associations through affiliate memberships, sponsorship of events, and financial support for educational opportunities within the industry.
